March Preview And Team News For Brentford vs. Barnsley

Barnsley will travel down to Brentford for their next league clash on Sunday afternoon. Brentford are currently on a very impressive 21-game unbeaten run and are gearing up to extend it by one more game when they welcome Barnsley on Sunday. Barnsley’s last game was against Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea in the FA Cup the last time out and it was the fifth game they have played in all competitions that ended without a win.

Norwich City are already slipping up in the title race and it is looking like Brentford will capitalize on the situation. The club’s manager Thomas Frank outlined the necessity of his side continuing their u beaten streak against Reading in their midweek clash as they delivered the goods one more time. Although they did not lose the game, the Bees were not very impressive for most parts of the first 45 minutes of the Reading fixture but came back stronger in the second half.

Brentford have scored a total of 17 goals in their last four games but out of the 17 goals, five have been scored in the second half of those previous games. They have proven to be relentless, hungry, and determined so far this season, three ingredients that could propel them to the title and automatic promotion to English football’s top tier next season.

Another option in midfield, however, is Saman Ghoddos just in case Frank wants to add more creativity to his starting lineup.
